What is to come
We have lived in Missoula for almost 11 years and we have decided that we love what Missoula and the state of Montana has to offer us so we are staying awhile longer. 9 years ago we bought a home in the middle of Missoula and have loved being in this home but we have been given an opportunity to relocate to a larger space here in town. We now have 2 lots which is the normal size of a residential home but now we have the chance to have 3.5 lots. The larger space has been in the same family since the 40s and the children were hoping to sell to someone who would not subdivide the property and build apartments. After much thought we decided we would take the chance and purchase the property. The property had a 608 sg ft home which turns out to be a log home under the stucco siding due to this fact we can not add to the home so the home and a few very large trees have been removed. We asked the local home supply recycling center to deconstruct the home it took them 8 days to remove and recycle all material from the site. We have been left with a basement of 400 sg ft that can not bee used due to the fact the walls are falling apart.
